Turner landscape sells for £9.1m

A Turner landscape has fetched £9.1m ($12.9m) in an auction at Sotheby's in New York. For the past 25 years it has remained in the private collection of fine art dealer Richard Feigen. A portrait of Barack Obama will become part of the permanent collection at the US National Portrait Gallery. Normally the gallery acquires official portraits of presidents as they are leaving office, however this will be hung on Inauguration Day on 20th January 2009.
