Dear John

Dear John is a 2010 American romantic drama / war film starring Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried . Directed by Lasse Hallström , the film is an adaptation of Nicholas Sparks ' novel of the same name . It shows the life of a young woman (Amanda Seyfried) after she falls in love with a soldier (Channing Tatum). They decide to exchange letters to each other after he is deployed to the war.
