Clive Owen goes down under in more ways than one. This comedy drama is set in Australia where he plays a brash sports writer struggling to keep it together and raise his six-year-old son following the death of his second wife. BBC Films and London-based outfit Tiger Aspect have thrown their weight behind the film which should be in safe hands with Aussie director Scott Hicks. Flint Lockwood (Hader) is a fairly unsuccessful amateur scientist who appears to have developed a device that will bring an end to world hunger. Flint and weather girl, Sam (Faris), must try and figure out what has gone wrong and save their town.
