After a bidding war ensued while Faryl Smith appeared in the final of 2008's Britain's Got Talent, the Kettering born singer finally opted for a 2.3 million pound deal with Universal Music. This, her debut album, sees Smith covering a selection of easy listening and classical standards with the backing of a sixty piece orchestra, while showcasing her unique vocal talent, often compared to fellow mezzo-sopranos Katherine Jenkins and Charlotte Church.
