Britain's Got Talent - Faryl Smith - Final
After a bidding war ensued while Faryl Smith appeared in the final of 2008's Britain's Got Talent, the Kettering born singer finally opted for a 2.3 million pound deal with Universal Music. This, her debut album, sees Smith covering a selection of easy listening and classical standards with the backing of a sixty piece orchestra, while showcasing her unique vocal talent, often compared to fellow mezzo-sopranos Katherine Jenkins and Charlotte Church.

The Film: A powerful tale, in which a sea...

The dance, Eternal Light, commissioned by Sadler's Wells Theatre, is being performed by Rambert Dance Company, its associate orchestra London Musici and Christ Church Cathedral Choir, Oxford. Rambert Dance Company...

I mean, I was down to the last second on this thing, and I was literally going to tell them that I couldn't do it. I was going to quit the business, and it was to the point where if I would have quit there was no way they'd have time...
