Brazilian club and bar Guanabara is hosting six days of music, dancing and fun at Carnival 2010. Get ready to party!
The carnival kicks off with a parade on 12 February. The London School of Samba (LSS) are leading the colourful procession and will then head into Guanabara for a stomping live performance featuring more than 25 musicians.
All the passion and fun of the carnival will be brought to life at Guanabara. Highlights include:
- Carnaval Bal Masqué, 13 Feb – A decadent masked ball with DJ Franco Ze Carioca and live music from Ritmos da Cidade
- Valentine's Forrónaval, 14 Feb – Learn Forró, a popular Brazilian dance with a special Valentine's twist
- Countrynaval Traffic Light Ball, 15 Feb – There'll be plenty of romance and flirting at this fun party. Dress according to your relationship status: red for unavailable, green if you're single, and yellow if you're somewhere in between!
