Jade - It's My Time - UK Entry for Eurovision Song Contest 2009

Jade Ewen is an English singer and actress. Ewen began her career with the role of Nala in the West End production of The Lion King. Ewen has since then been seen in numerous TV series in both the United Kingdom and Australia. In 2005 Ewen joined the R&B group Trinity Stone which achieved limited success in the UK, Ireland, and Russia. On 31 January 2009 Ewen won the British national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest and represented the country at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow on 16 May, in which the United Kingdom came in 5th place. In doing so, she became the highest placed UK Eurovision act since 2002. Jade also scored the second highest number of points [173] for any UK entry at Eurovision.
