Demi Lovato - Interview & Remember December Live at Alan Titchmarsh
Published 8 February 10 11:17 AM |
charlotte
Like Britney Spears before her, Demi Lovato pretty much admits in the title of her sophomore album that she's serving up more of the same the second time around, but unlike Britney, that may not have been Demi's intention. For HERE WE GO AGAIN, Lovato makes a relatively clean break from the Jonas Brothers, who penned much of her debut, DON'T FORGET, drafting sensitive AAA singer/songwriters Jon McLaughlin and John Mayer, presumably to give Lovato a bit of mature veneer--a subtle shift...

Though the title of The Black Eyed Peas' suggests their career coming to an end after over 27 million album sales, it actually stands for 'The Energy Never Dies'. The album's producer Will.I.Am has stated that, if anything, the album is the beginning of a new concept, one reflective of the digital download generation. Musically, the group sticks to their established slick, pop-funk sound, with the lead single 'Boom Boom Pow' standing out as a typically boisterous and dramatic...

Backstreet Boys - Straight through my heart (live)
Published 22 September 9 5:25 PM |
charlotte
Every decade has a teenybopper band that takes the charts by storm, and the late 1990s saw the emergence of the Backstreet Boys. Picking up exactly where '80s teen stars New Kids On The Block left off, the quintet hit it big with flashy outfits, slick dance moves, and a mixture of bubblegum pop and heart-tugging ballads. The band split in early 2001, but reunited three years later and began releasing commercially viable--if not platinum-selling--albums again.
U2 - I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight Live Letterman 3rd Night
Published 3 September 9 12:6 PM |
charlotte
U2's Bono was one of the few real rock heroes of the 1980s, leading the Irish band to international recognition with a charged, political approach to music. The band's early efforts brought a stadium-size presence to post-punk, with Bono's expressive vocals and the Edge's distinct guitar lines interacting seamlessly with the rhythm section of bassist Adam Clayton and drummer Larry Mullen, Jr. In 1987, U2 broke through to superstardom with THE JOSHUA TREE, a grand culmination of their...
