London 2012 gets young people from East London involved in the Games

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) is involving children and young people from east London in the preparations for the Games with a string of successful community projects. ‘ODA spending 75 pence in every £1 on London 2012 regeneration legacy’

Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) Chairman John Armitt set out how 75 pence in every £1 spent by the ODA is being invested in long term regeneration of east London. Speaking at a Foundation for Science and Technology debate last night Mr Armitt made clear that legacy from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games was being delivered now. Local residents consulted on plans for Main Press Centre and International Broadcast Centre

Local residents are being encouraged to attend an Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) local consultation event and drop-in sessions to find out more about the plans for the International Broadcast Centre and Main Press Centre (IBC/MPC) for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
