New Mountain Biking venue in Essex confirmed for the London 2012 Games

The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) today confirmed that subject to final contract negotiations, the venue for the Mountain Biking events will be at Hadleigh Farm, Essex. BP signs as London 2012 partner

London 2012 commits to Greenwich consultation

London 2012 has outlined its commitment to working with local residents to address their concerns about the use of Greenwich Park in the run-up to and during the London 2012 Games. Small UK companies winning biggest London 2012 business benefits

Of the 650 companies that have already won over £2 billion worth of work supplying the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) to date over 70 per cent are small and medium (SMEs) sized businesses and 98 per cent are UK based. IOC Coordination Commission visit underway
