Olympic Village Designs Released

The latest legacy designs for the Olympic Village were released by the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) and Lend Lease today, together with new images showing the good progress being made on construction work on site. Olympic Park workforce reach new safety milestone

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) today announced that the Olympic Park workforce have achieved another million hours without a reportable accident, for the fifth time since the ODA gained possession of the Park in July 2007. Village site cleared for construction

The construction of the Olympic Village is on track to start this summer, following the clearance of the area that will link the Village and VeloPark during the Games. The clearance of the area included the demolition of 28 buildings, including the two tallest buildings on the Olympic Park site – the long disused, 12-storey University of East London towers.
