The biggest free ticketed event in Europe. Radio 1's Big Weekend takes place on 9-10 May 2009 at Lydiard Park, Swindon. The Isle of Wight Festival 2008 takes place on 13th, 14th and 15th of June. The festival voted 'Best Major UK Festival' at the 2007 UK Festival Awards returns with headliners The Police, The Sex Pistols and The Kaiser Chiefs.
