20 January 2009 to 24 February 2009 Legendary music magazine, NME celebrates its annual award ceremony with a string of gigs around the capital. This famous weekly has been running since 1952 and has a massive influence on who makes it in the music industry. In recent times the NME has championed The Strokes, The White Stripes and The Arctic Monkeys. All these acts have gone on to achieve phenomenal commercial success.
